Shaping the next generation of Bnei Torah.
Mosdot Tiferet Torah was founded by the Roshei Yeshiva Rabbi Tzvi Kramer, Rabbi Nerya Aminov, and Rabbi Nachum Zlotnick to provide a unique Yeshiva High School and Bet Midrash/Kollel Program for the Sephardic Jewish community in New York and abroad. Our mission is to shape the future leaders of Klal Yisroel. We recognize the importance of educating the young men of our community in the depth and richness of our Jewish heritage while providing them with the tools to succeed in life. This prepares them to be well-rounded, caring individuals, ready to thrive and become an integral part of Klal Yisroel’s future.
Since its opening, the High school and Bet Midrash have grown substantially and now attract talmidim from across the United States, and even internationally. The Roshei Yeshiva, talmidim of Harav Hagaon Henoch Leibowitz Zt’l, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim (Queens, NY). guide and direct the Yeshiva. They set and implement the educational philosophy and make determinations regarding admissions, staff, discipline and curriculum. They oversee the Torah Studies and General Studies departments of the High School, the Bet Midrash, and the supervision of the students.
Mosdot Tiferet Torah comprises three institutions within itself:
Metivta Tiferet Torah, which is the boys Yeshiva High School
Yeshiva Gedola Ateret Gavriel, which is the post high school Bet Midrash and Kollel.
Merkaz Ohr Torah, which is the post high school introductory program to the Bet Midrash.
